ABOUT ME

With over four years of editing experience, Cali Doleshal understands the importance of shaping each story through structure, pacing, and emotional rhythm. She began her editing career in Wyoming, working as the creative media lead at Table in the Wilderness Ministries. For two years, Cali wrote, produced, directed, and edited projects for this ministry before moving across the country to pursue a bachelor’s degree in film production and creative development at Liberty University.

While at Liberty University, she received certifications in DaVinci Resolve and Pro Tools while learning the inner workings of filmmaking. Having the opportunity to make her own thesis film during her senior year of college, Cali wrote, produced, directed, and edited that film, My Sister, which explores the hardship of a girl who has lost her sister in a post-apocalyptic world. In addition to her own film, Cali edited eight other thesis films in various genres such as comedy, drama, action, and sci-fi.

Now based in Wyoming, Cali enjoys her freelance work while continuing to write.  One of her aspirations is to have the opportunity to edit a full-length feature film.  No matter the size or genre of a project, she loves to see the creative process at work and refuses to settle for anything less than amazing!  Whether you have a project or a question, please consider reaching out.
